Ram Niwas Goel, a Delhi Assembly Speaker, sent out a notice to Manjinder Singh Sirsa, a legislator of the Shiromani Akali Dal, for placing “Son of MLA” sticker on a white Duster.
On July 15, 2019, Sirsa allegedly retweeted a picture of a white Duster that had a sticker that said “Son of MLA”, Sirsa claimed that that the car belonged to the son of Goel.
As a response to the claims of Sirsa, the lawyer of Ram Niwas Goel sent out a notice to Sirsa, the lawyer said, “The car does not belong to my client’s son. The false and defamatory allegations and statements have damaged the reputation of my client.”
Ram Niwas Goel is expecting an apology letter from Manjinder Singh Sirsa in the coming days.
Goel said that he would sue Sirsa if he does not send an apology letter.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa, a member of the Shiromani Akali Dal party, represents the Rajouri Garden Assembly Constituency of New Delhi.
