Superstar Salman Khan attended the prayer meet of Rajshri Media CEO Rajjat Barjatya on Sunday. He broke down, sobbing like a child at a prayer meeting held for producer Rajjat Barjatya, belonging to the Barjatya family (Rajjat was filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s cousin brother) with whom Salman made in his first film, Maine Pyaar Kiya.

Rajjat passed away on Friday (July 29) at a hospital in Mumbai. He was Salman’s very close friend. He thus attended the prayer meet held on Sunday. He hugs each and every member of the Barjatya family and when he hugged Sooraj, he dropped his guard and wailed up.

The two entities had not worked for almost a decade and half, only to reunite in Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, which turned out to be one of the biggest films of 2015.

The day Rajjat passed away Salman had tweeted about the loss, “Rest in peace my brother Rajjat Barjatya.”

The entire B-town was shocked by his sudden demise. Apart from Salman Khan, actress Ravina Tandon, Tara Sharma, Sonam Kapoor,  Anu Malik, Subhash Ghai and many other bollywood celebs were present at the prayer meet.
