Bollywood actor Inder Kumar, who is perhaps best remembered as Salman Khan’s brother as Ajay in the 2009 hit movie “Wanted”, passed away early in the morning on Friday, July 28 at a young age of 45.
The actor reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest at his residence in Four Bungalows in Andheri, Mumbai around 2 am today. His wife Pallavi has confirmed the news. It is said that he was suffering from a prevailing ailment.
Inder Kumar started his career in Bollywood in the year 1996 debut in a film called Masoom. Till 2011, Inder worked in 20 films. The actor played many supporting roles in Salman Khan movies like Tirchhi Topiwale’ (1998), ‘Kahi Pyar Na Ho Jaaye’ (2000), Wanted(2009), ‘Agneepath’ (2005) and Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge(2002) and also worked in Maa Tujhhe Salaam, Paying Guests etc.
He was last seen in the movie, Yeh Dooriyaan (2011) and was currently preparing for his upcoming comedy film, Phati Paid Hai Yaar. The actor also essayed the role of Mihir Virani for a brief period in Ekta Kapoor‘s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2002.
The actor was quite close to Salman Khan’s family as the two actors have worked together in several projects. Sources said Salman Khan used to advise him on various matters. He was a very good-looking man with a good physique and the charming chocolate boy looks.
Kumar was extremely close to Salman Khan and his family as the two stars had worked together in several films. They were often seen hanging out with each other–at the gym, playing football, at family gatherings and the like.

Talking about the 51-year-old star, Inder said, “I have worked more with Salman Khan and wish to do the same in the future as well. He is my brother, my guru and the biggest star in the industry right now.”
