Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) was constituted by the Telangana government recently empowering vice chancellor of seven universities as council members reported IANS. Osmania University is a public state university located in Hyderabad, India, and founded in 1918. The university is a non-profit university which is funded and managed by the government. Admissions into the Bachelor of Engineering, Masters and Doctoral programs in main campus is on a merit basis, evaluated by national entrance examinations (EAMCET, GATE, BCFSBTGMES-N&D, TSLAWCET, O.U. PhD Entrance Exam etc.) for each of the courses offered. The research activities are funded by various autonomous agencies of the government of India. This year it has released notification for the PGECET.

The candidates who wanted to apply for TS PGECET should possess B.E/ B.Tech from a recognized university or institution with a minimum pass percentage of 50%. For SC/ST category the pass percentage should be 45% marks.

Exam Pattern:
The TS PGECET exam is a written exam. The exam will be conducted for two hours of time duration. The paper consists of 120 questions that each carries 120 marks. Each question carries 1 mark for each correct answer.
