Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts civil services examination every year. The examination is in two phases i.e; Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview. Candidates who will qualify in the Preliminary exam are eligible for further rounds. A large number of candidates apply for the civil services examination. UPSC Civil Services Main Exam Syllabus and Previous Year Question Papers:
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is India’s central agency authorised to conduct the Civil Services Examination, Indian Forest Service examination, Engineering Services Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, National Defence Academy Examination, Naval Academy Examination, Combined Medical Services Examination, Special Class Railway Apprentice, Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, Combined Geoscientist and Geologist Examination, and Central Armed Police Forces(Assistant Commandant) Examination.
The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India, including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS) among others.
The Preliminary examination, consisting of two objective-type papers (General Studies and Aptitude Test), and the Main examination, consisting of nine papers of conventional (essay). Here are the syllabus and previous year papers for civil services main examination.
