Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh: A teacher from a private school was arrested after he allegedly molested a 13-year-old Grade 8 student inside their classroom.
According to reports, the 13-year-old girl was molested by the teacher in a classroom.
The student told her mother about the incident.
The student also told her mother that the teacher scolded her.
The parents of the 13-year-old went to the private school and reported the incident to the police.
The police scanned the CCTV that was installed in the classroom and arrested the teacher.
The teacher is from Kerala, said the police.
The teacher will be facing charges under the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
Sunil Kumar Gupta, the Superintendent of Police, said that an investigation has been launched.
