Watch: Lion Chases Tourists At Zoological Park In Karnataka

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Zoological Park, Karnataka: A group of tourists, who were visiting a zoological park in Karnataka, were chased by a lion.

The tourists were at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Zoological Park, which is located in Ballari, when the incident happened.

The incident happened in late August earlier this year, but it went viral after it was shared on social media last week.

The video shows Keshri, a 6-year-old lion, running behind a jeep, chasing the tourists until the jeep speeded up and went away.

The video was captured by a tourist.

Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.

The video was shared on YouTube on October 11, 2019, and it has over 780k views and over 140 likes.

According to Sonal Varshi, the Executive Director of the Ballari zoo, the incident is a “non-event” incident that happened over 45 days ago.

During an interview with the media, Varshi said it is normal to be chased by lions and tigers if you enter their marked territory.

Varshi added, “Keshri was a new entrant in the zoo and was released in the protected area to settle down. It has accustomed to vehicles and visitors now.”
