35-year-old Davendril, a resident of the Bulandshahr region of Uttar Pradesh, was bitten by a snake when she was working in the fields in order to collect wood.

She rushed to go back to their house to inform her husband about the incident, but instead of helping her out, the family did something else.

Instead of taking her to the hospital, the family called a snake charmer to heal her injury and to get the poison out of her body.

The snake charmer told the husband to wrap the woman with cow dung.

the husband of Davendri was covered with cow dung and images that went viral after the incident shows a mountain of cow poop over her body.

As the woman was under the cow dung, the snake charmer was chanting mantras, which never worked.

The poor woman did not get any medical help, so she passed away.
