Puri Jagannadh’s Son Akash’s Debut Telugu Movie ‘Andhra Pori’ First Look Poster

Tollywood Director Puri Jagannadh’s son, Akash who acted in several films a Child artist is finally debuting in to film industry as a hero. His first film as hero is titled ‘Andhra Pori’ was launched today. The movie is about a girl who came from Andhra region and settled down in Hyderabad. Famous TV serial girl Ulka Gupta plays the girl from Andhra. However this is not an ordinary project. It is a remake of a Marathi movie named Time Pass which became an industry hit there.

Puri Jagannadh is one of the fastest making director in the history of Telugu cinema. His movies complete the making on time and release as per the scheduled date. Puri Jagannadh’s son Akash Jagannadh is a known face in Tollywood as he has been seen in number of movies as a child artist. Now Akash is turning hero and his debut movie has been launched today in Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. The movie is a remake of Marathi blockbuster Time Pass. Raj Madiraju is directing the movie and Prasad Labs MD Ramesh Prasad is producing the movie on Prasad Productions banner. Puri Jagannadh with his family, Ramesh Prasad and other unit members attended the launch of the movie and the regular shoot of the film will start from January 2015.

This story related to teenage romance is directed by ‘Rishi’ fame Raj Madiraju. Ramesh Prasad, son of Legendary, LV Prasad is producing this film. It is said that Akash was trained for almost an year for this film before launching it. We will have to see if this Marathi Industry hit remake will give a perfect launch pad to Akash. On the other hand, when Puri Jagannadh is quizzed about directing his son, he said, “Akash is the protagonist of this film. But it is not his debut as he is just 17-year-old. He will be debuted as a full-fledged hero after four years and then I will see of directing him”.
