Anurag Basu Pretty Damn Logical Reply To A Fan Who Complained About Jagga Jasoos Getting Delayed Again

Ever since Anurag Basu’s upcoming project, Jagga Jasoos (JJ), was announced, there have been several rumors surrounding the film. While the movie’s delayed release has been much talked about. Jagga Jasoos has been over three years in the making and has gone through the lead pair’s alleged break-up, make-up, and break-up again.

Bollywood fans aren’t too high on logic and reasoning. It started when Anurag Basu took to Twitter to share his feelings about the release date of his much-anticipated film Jagga Jasoos.

This is what Anurag Basu tweeted about the movie release date:

Why Release Delayed?

It seemed like all was going to be fine when it was announced that the release date was locked in for April 7th, 2017. But now, it looks like they may need to push the release further. Exams for students have been delayed because of ongoing state assembly polls in certain states, and will now be between March 9th and April 29th.

Filmmaker Anurag Basu says the team of Jagga Jasoos is contemplating delaying the film’s release as it coincides with the board examination dates across the country. The makers of Jagga Jasoos are planning to release the movie after the exams because the students would be a substantial chunk of their intended audience.

Disappointed Fan:

Many fans weren’t too happy about this, given just how much the film has been delayed. One fan, in particular, expressed disappointment, saying it was “disrespect, dishonesty” and “unprofessional”.

No film is as big for the fans as it is for its director.

Anurag Basu seemingly lashed out at this fan, telling her to ignore them. He put things into perspective and came up with a pretty logical reason to satisfy the fan.

Anurag Basu tweet has received some hate from fans. Here are some of the reactions from the fans.

One must realize that no fan can be as affected by the delay of a film as the director.
