A few days ago the Dhadak trailer of Janhvi Kapoor’s debut film starring her and Ishaan Khatter the movie was set to be released on 20th July.
Karan Johar’s film which is directed by Shashank Khaitan is a remake of the National Award winning Marathi film “Sairat” which released back in 2016.
The movie is being released a month after the death of Janhvi’s mother, Sri Devi. In launch event of the trailer, Jhanvi said: “I miss her today.”
She revealed, “I saw Sairat with mom at home, and I remember telling her ‘I wish that this was my first film and I could do something like it.’ Mom and I had this big discussion on how she wanted a role like this for me, and then you (Karan Johar) called, and it happened,”
The trailer shows a glimpse of the movie and is full packed with Love, action, and emotions.
The story follows two young couple who fell in love with each other and in no time they were serious in a relationship.
However, as their love grows, a lot of problems follows and life becomes hell for both.
Speaking about her dad Boney Kapoor, Jhanvi said: “He didn’t give any tips, but he has given me a lot of love and support, which is far more important.”
In a tweet Arjun Kapoor said,
