Fire Broke Out in Deepika Padukone’s House

A major fire broke out in the building Deepika Padukone lives in. She stays on the 24th floor, and the fire broke out on the 23rd floor of the B wing of Beaumonde Towers.

 

 

Good news is everyone was safely evacuated. The incident happened while Deepika was shooting for a brand she endorsed and was at home. She wrote, “I am safe. Thank you, everyone. Let us pray for our firefighters who are at site risking their lives”.

 

However a source had given a statement, “It’s not her house or office which has caught fire. It has happened on the 32nd floor. The fire brigade is on their way already. Deepika is on the set shooting for her brand. Her staff has evacuated the apartment,”

 

16 fire engines, five water tankers, and 108 ambulances were rushed to the spot. Two firefighters Harishchandra Raorane (54) and Shivaji Achrekar (53) were admitted to hospital due to suffocation.
With according to reports both are stable.

 

 

Later, Deepika visited the site to check if everything was ok. She met the fireman who was working there and said that she is thankful to get that the fire brigade did such a fabulous job.

 

According to the reports, the building is going to be shut down for next 10-15 days, and no access will be available to the building for the residents. Deepika owns two flats in the building will now won’t be able to get there until next two weeks.

 

As per the statement was given by Fire officer P Rahangdale said to Mumbai Mirror “Once our fire tenders were withdrawn from the spot, we had no role to play. BEST has to restore electricity and decide along with the housing society when its residents can start living in their flats. We are investigating the cause of the fire and the place where the fire first broke”.
