Details on the case.
According to reports few actresses were questioned and was proven guilty of being involved in the case. Their visa was revoked.
An actress arrived at the O’Hare international airport in Chicago on November 20, 2017, from Delhi. She was traveling on a visa issued from Delhi on November 6, 2017, to participate in an event organized by the Telugu Association Of South California (TASC) on November 18.
The question arose because the actress arrived two days after the event, and traveled to Chicago instead of California, authorities got suspicious and began inquiries.
On being questioned, the actress said that she was in the country to attend another event hosted by the North America Telugu Society (NATS). However, when investigators dug deeper, they found that the actress’s statement was fake and that the president of NATS denied identifying or inviting the actress to the country.
Later reports came that a guy named “Raju” had arranged her travel documents and trip. ‘Raju’ later turned out to be Kishan Modugumudi.
The actress was denied entry to the US and her visa was revoked.
There are few more cases just like this, which leads to a very offensive side of the Industry. And the worst part is that the name of Industry is getting worse in other countries. It is a shameful incident.
While we hope that the culprits get caught and should be punished for their doing. And every actress involved in the racket should be ashamed of there doing, instead of joining what’s going on.
