With her advent appearance in the Rio Olympics, PV Sindhu has proved herself bagging a silver for India. Her exemplary game at the mere 21 years surprised the whole nation, drawing in immense hope for the better tomorrow.
Post the game, she became an idol for the aspiring sportswomen. The recent sources from Bollywood have mentioned that a biopic on this young Badminton player is all set to hit the silver screen. However, from back then, there were no official reports and everything was just left like that.
Now, at the IIFA event that happened at New York, actor Sonu Sood revealed his plans on the movie, said that the script work is almost done and the crew is hunting for the cast. Though it is earlier believed that actor Deepika Padukone might play the role of Sindhu, Sonu Sood confirmed that it was not decided yet and they’re in search of the perfect people.
Post this, someone asked Sonu Sood, who himself is the producer of the movie, regarding Sindhu’s presence in her own biopic, he then said, “Yes, she will, of course, be a part of the film.”
Later, when asked about the cast, he added: “We will approach all the actors who we think deserve to be a part of the film. We haven’t signed anyone yet among the leading ladies. But we are in the final stages of locking the script.”
Talking about his role, Sonu concluded, “Hopefully, yes. I am working hard on getting things correct. I hope people like it when it comes out.” The director and Music director are yet to be decided.
