In an unfortunate event, Ranveer Singh’s Grandmother passed away on Monday, after which the actor canceled all his events and shooting schedule for next few days.
Padmaavat’s actor Ranveer Singh was very close to his grandmother. In an interview, he had said “As important to me as oxygen and water. I am very affectionate with everybody – my fans, my family. I was raised that way. My grandmother mollycoddled me. There was lots of hugging and kissing in my house.”
Back in January Deepika Padukone had visited his grandmother at the hospital.
After the fantastic success of Padmaavat on box office, the actor is all set to work in Rohit Shetty’s Simba after wrapping up the work of Gully boy of Zoya Akhtar.
Ranveer Singh canceled his Switzerland Tourism press conference after the news, and he is the brand ambassador of Switzerland Tourism.
According to several reports, his grandmother was not well for a long time, and in January Deepika Padukone had visited her in hospital.
There were rumors that Ranveer and Deepika were about to get married somewhere in November however after such heartbreaking news it’s entirely possible that they might postpone their plans.
Ranveer Singh in past few years has become very successful in the industry as he has done some fantastic movies and there is no doubt all of this was possible with the blessings of his grandmother. His grandmother always pampered him from very young age according to actor there was a lot of hugging and kisses which show how close Ranveer was to his Grandmother.
Deadpool was dubbed in Hindi by Ranveer as well.
After which he had stated in an interview about Indian superhero “I am personally very keen on seeing a true-blue Indian superhero. I don’t think at all it has to do with a lack of willingness. In fact, we have a plethora of Indian superheroes that can be adapted for the big screen.”
