Every fan of Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor is waiting for the movie Sanju. Sanju is the biopic of the Famous Bollywood controversy actor Sanjay Dutt. Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Sanjay Dutt in this movie along with some other stars like Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor and many others.
The movie is directed by the best director of Bollywood industry Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vibhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani. The film has come under the production banner of Vinod Chopra Films. Ranbir Kapoor played the role of Sanjay so nicely that it shocks Sanjay too.
Sanjay said he is another copy of me. He is pleased to see how Ranbir adapts his Character so well. Everyone is super excited about the movie, But there are some inside stories of Sanju. While speaking on the telegraph, Vinod Chopra said what’s there in Sanjay Dutt’s life that merits being made into a film? He said it’s better to make a movie on him, on his struggle how he came to Mumbai and survived in the unknown city. He also meantioned that he thinks the writers of Sanju lost their minds.
But when director narrated the whole story to Vinod Chopra about the life of Sanjay Dutt he is shocked. How the life of Sanjay Dutt changed from 308 girlfriends to the beggar in streets of US. Rajkumar Hirani also revealed that the producers are not at all happy with the suggestion of Ranbir Kapoor for the lead role of Sanjay Dutt. Vinod Chopra has an opinion that Ranveer Singh would do a better job than Ranbir Kapoor.
But afterwards Ranbir Kapoor has opted for the lead role, and this decision of Rajkumar Hirani made producers kneel down to his vision. Vinod Chopra said that Rajkumar Hirani was stuck on his choice of Ranbir Kapoor as a lead role and when we started shooting and Ranbir became Sanjay Dutt, I had to eat my words.
The movie is going to release on 29 June Filmmakers are expecting the massive opening from Sanju.
