Police Report: On Tuesday, militants killed an RSS leader and his personal security officer after they snatched his weapon inside a hospital in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir.
RSS Leader Chandrakanta Sharma attained gunshot injuries from the incident. Sunil Sethi, the spokesperson of BJP said that Sharma has passed away.
Chandrakanta Sharma was in the hospital for a health check-up.
Officials said that the militants went inside the hospital and snatched the weapon of the PSO. The policeman was shot dead during the scuffle and Sharma attained injuries.
The army in the state is trying to maintain peace and order in Kishtwar and Bhaderwah. The government of the state has imposed a curfew in the city and Bhaderwah, they have also stopped the usage of internet in the cities.
In the past 6 months, this is the second recorded terrorist attack in Kishtwar City.
Last year, State Secretary Anil Parihar of BJP and Ajeet, his brother, were both returning from their shop in the city, they were shot by terrorists while the brothers were on their way to their house.
The RSS leader and his personal security man were both killed on Tuesday when militants open fired at them inside a health center in the city, the government has imposed a curfew and has called the Indian army to help them maintain law and order in the region.
