On Saturday, eleven polling officials were injured after the bus that they were travelling in overturned in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh.

The police said that the bus was carrying 24 polling officials who were riding it to reach their designated polling venue.

Officials added that the bus lost control and overturned near the village of Belgadi.

9 men and 2 women were brought to the Chopan Community Health Centre, 5 of the injured were brought to the district hospital.

The polling in the Robertsganj Lok Sabha Constituency in UP will take place in the last phase of the 2019 General Elections.
