13 People Injured After 12 Train Coaches Of The Poorva Express Derail Near Kanpur, The Train Was On Its Way To New Delhi

13 people were injured in Kanpur, UP, after 12 train coaches of the Poorva Express derailed, the train was on its way to New Delhi. Railway officials said that the incident happened on Saturday 12:50 AM.

The Poorva Express train was on its way to New Delhi when the incident happened, the train derailed near the Rooma Railway Station by 12:50 AM.

The railway officials said that 4 out of the 12 derailed LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches overturned.

Amit Malviya, the public relations officer of the North Central Railway, said that 13 people attained injuries from the incident, he added that the 13 passengers have been rushed to the hospital and have been given medical assistance.
