A 24-year-old Chinese woman turned the tables after she proposed to her boyfriend with BMW keys and house deed.
On their first anniversary, which was on December 11, 2019, the woman proposed to her boyfriend at a cultural exhibition in Henan.
24-year-old Xiaojing proposed to Xiaoke, her boyfriend, at the very same place where he asked her out for the first time.
Initially, Xiaojing told Xiaoke that she needed him to go and pick up something for her at the cultural exhibition hall in Henan.
One thing that Xiaoke did not know was that Xiaojing had decorated the place with balloons and other decorations.
As Xiaojing arrived, his girlfriend was waiting in a bridal gown.
Xiaojing presented a bouquet of flowers to Xiaoke.
Xiaojing said, “I prepared all of this. There’s a car and a house deed here.”
Xiaojing added, “It doesn’t matter if you have them or not, I still want to be with you. Will you marry me?”
Xiaoke said yes to the proposal of Xiaojing.
Xiaojing works in the design field and said that Xiako takes care of her all the time and even makes sacrifices for her.
In return for his love, Xiaojing wanted to do something for him.
Romantic as she is, Xiaojing wanted to create something special for both of them.
Xiaojing said her family helped her surprise the proposal.
The family of Xiaojing also sponsored the house and the car.
Xiaojing said, “What I want — more than material goods — is love. I don’t think that it always has to be the man in the relationship providing [a house and car]. More than that, I want him to be devoted and caring after our marriage.”
Xiaojing says that money is not important to her.
