In a shocking incident, a Google employee was found dead in Massachusetts. A 27-year-old Venessa Marcotte was murdered when she went for jogging and she never returned back.
Venessa is currently working in New York and was visiting home for the weekend. She was disappeared on Sunday afternoon. Soon after the complaint was lodged, the search has begun and Venessa’s dead body was found a mile away from her mother’s place on the night on the same day.
The police found the body in a wooded area at 8 pm. The police also cited that there were indications of her body being burnt. They are investigating in deep for the reason whether she was sexually assaulted or not.
Venessa joined Google in January 2015 as a healthcare account manager in New York. She was graduated from Boston University in 2011. In an email statement, Google confirmed Venessa’s employment with the company.
“Vanessa Marcotte was a much-loved member of the Google team, working in our New York office for the last year and a half, and known for her ubiquitous smile, passion for volunteer work, and love of Boston sports,” the statement said. “We are deeply shocked and saddened and our thoughts are with her family and friends.”
