A 36-year-old man has put allegations on 5 Kerala priests of the Kottayam Malankara Orthodox Syrian church. According to him these 5 Kerala priests sexually abused and blackmailed his wife. He also said the incident did not take place once or twice rather than all of 5 doing this from past several years.
The news came up from Kottayam in Kerala, where 5 priests are under the investigation after the allegations of a 36-year-old man. A man filled the case on behalf of his wife. He said they sexually assaulted his wife from almost last 20 years. After the case was filled two of the priest approached a court for the protection from the court.
How The Story of A Woman Exposed
The question is, it is happening from last 20 years but how it comes in the light now. Woman’s story has come in light when her husband is raising his voice against these 5 priests of the church. While complaining to church officials his audio clip was recorded. Later on, the audio clip was posted on social media and circulated and went viral.
The whole incident started in the 1990s when the woman is in teenage. She was allegedly forced into sex by one of the priests of the church. When she tells this whole incident to other priests he also reportedly blackmailed her for sex.
In an interview with NDTV, her husband said when she reached to the other priest for the help he also takes benefit of the situation. He even starts threatening her for sex.
The primary victim is the father of the church. For hidings his criminal act he promised woman to marry her. The woman got married in 2006 even after that the primary victim blackmailed her by saying he would tell everything to her husband.
The woman recorded her statement with the police and provided all the information for the last 20 years. Police had filed a rape case against all the priest of the church. No arrests have been made yet by the police officials.
Woman’s husband also stated that he is in under pressure from the church officials and church followers. The woman is currently living with her parents.
