61-Year-Old North Carolina Woman Smoking While Hooked Up To Oxygen Is Killed After Tank Explodes

A 61-year-old woman from North Carolina was killed after an oxygen tank exploded when she was smoking right next to it.

According to reports, Belinda Coble, the woman, was smoking while she was hooked up to an oxygen tank that was administered at her house in Zebulon, which is located 20 miles away from Raleigh.

The cigarette caused the oxygen tank to ignite, which resulted in an explosion.

The husband of Coble was sleeping when the incident happened.

The explosion was so loud that it woke him up and led him to call 911.

He attempted to put out the fire.

61-year-old Belinda Coble was pronounced dead when emergency responders arrived at the house.
