9 people arrested and 50 kids rescued after international paedophile ring gets busted

The Interpol said that 9 people were arrested in Thailand, the USA, and Australia and more people are expected to get expected.

The Interpol started an investigation in 2007 which was focused on a website located in the “dark web” that had nearly 63,000 users from around the world.

According to the police, more than 100 kids were abused, the police are currently trying to identify them.

The Interpol launched operation “Blackwrist” after the agency saw images of 11 boys that were under 13-years-old being abused on a website that used an encrypted security software so it could be undetected.

The dark web is part of the internet that is not in reach of the normal search engines.

The HSI (Homeland Security Investigations) department of the United States tracked down the IP address of the website, which was used to store the videos and pictures of the abuse.

The police said that the abusers uploaded videos and pictures of kids every week, and added that they placed a mask on the kid’s faces so investigators will have a hard time to identify them.

Last year, Montri Salangam, the administrator of the website was arrested in Thailand, and Ruecha Tokputza, the second administrator of the website, was arrested in Australia.

Montri Salangam, the main administrator of the website, has been sentenced to spend 146 years in a prison in Thailand, whole Ruecha Tokputza, a pre-school teacher in Australia, was sentenced to 36 years in prison.

On Friday, Ruecha Tokputza was sentenced again to 40 years after pleading guilty in 51 charges against 11 babies and boys. The sentence is the biggest sentence that has ever been sentenced in Australia for committing child sex offences.

The police recovered more than 1000 photos that were believed to be captured in Australia and Thailand. The main abuser in the pictures was Ruecha Tokputza.

Officials said that the youngest victim is believed to be only 15-months old.

Judge Liesl Chapman, a judge in Adelaide called Ruecha Tokputza a “child’s worst nightmare”.

Judge Liesl added, “You are every parent’s horror, you are a menace to the community.”

Eric McLoughlin, the Homeland Security Investigations regional attaché in Bangkok said that police are yet to release the names of the other people who have been arrested, but they said that many are living in the United States.
