Prestigious Vijay Awards, which is one of the biggest awards ceremonies in South India is on 25th April 2015. The Vijay Awards are presented by the Tamil television channel STAR Vijay to honour excellence in Tamil cinema. It has given annually since 2006. The awards are decided by a jury, consisting of noted filmmakers, critics and technicians, while winners in a separate category named “Favourite awards” are chosen by public voting.The awards have been sponsored by Reliance Mobile, Univercell and Close Up.
Prestigious Vijay Awards 2015 :
This is 9th Vijay Awards to be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium from 6 pm onwards. Last year the 8th edition of Vijay Awards was held on 5th July 2014 and this year the entertainment is set early on April 25th, 2015. From array of stars from the film industry, skillfull directors, good producers and all the top technicians the audience had selected the best for their work in 2014. Those selected by the audience will be awarded in the cermony which is about to start at 06:00PM on 25th April 2015. From 2006 there has been lot of change in the format of awards, along with all other awards, Favorite Song was introduced in 2008. This year one more award was added ‘Best child actor’.

This year, the entire set will go by the theme of LED and lights.” he is known for his work in Kochadaiiyaan and Aaha Kalyanam.

We are grateful to the film industry and our audience for carrying this event to such great heights.” Prabhu Deva is all set to set the stage on fire at the Vijay Awards ceremony this weekend.
