A footage depicting the two robbers looting gold from the cash logistics company has created a sensation in Ahmedabad.
Sources claim that the looted property is 14 kilograms of gold in the form of gold bars that worths about Rs 4 crore.
According to the local reports, two robbers stated that they allegedly rushed into the office of SIS Prosegur at Mithakali locality after hitting a security guard with an iron rod.
The CCTV footage was recovered by the respective police authorities on the early morning which is featuring two robbers looting the gold by breaking the locker.
“Two persons entered the office of SIS Prosegur, a cash logistics company at Mithakali locality this morning and did away with around 14 kg gold bars worth over Rs 4 crore after attacking an armed guard,” Navrangpura Police Inspector RV Desai said.
They hit one security guard with an iron rod, meanwhile, the another security guard was sleeping in the van.

“We have recovered a CCTV footage which shows two youths robbing gold. The identity of the robbers is not immediately clear and we are investigating the matter,” Desai said.
