Mumbai Police has filed an a complaint against the Bollywood personalities  Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, after receiving an strong opposition and written complaint from President of Brahman Ekta Seva Sanstha in Mumbai. Akhilesh Tiwari, President of Brahman Ekta Seva Sanstha in Mumbai approached police at Sakinaka police station on Monday and raised allegations over the trio Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh that they had used “filthy and abusive language” on AIB Roast event held in Mumbai. The trio was alleged by the Akhilesh Tiwari, President of Brahman Ekta Seva Sanstha in Mumbai that they have been passing the abusive and filthy statements against each other which was a public show. The police action would be a deterrent to them so that they would not dare to do such acts publicly in future.” Akhilesh Tiwari who is 43 years old has stated that the show was shooted in south Mumbai on December 20 and was uploaded into YouTube last week.

Mumbai Police: “We are inquiring; we will take appropriate action soon”

Mumbai’s Sakinaka Police station Senior Inspector Prasanna More proclaimed that “We have received the written complaint. We are inquiring into the matter. Once we reach a conclusion, appropriate action would be initiated, if required.” Roastmaster of the show Karan Johar started the show with a disparaging announcement “Let the filth begin” which is raising many speculations. Karan Johar was accompanied by the Bollywood’s hot sizzling beauties Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha and Alia Bhatt who too didn’t tried to break off the passing of such comments which directs the youth of this nation in a wrong path by so called youth icons of Bollywood, as per the complaint filed by Akhilesh Tiwari, President of Brahman Ekta Seva Sanstha.

Maharashtra government too seems to be serious with allegations raised over the show which has featured unacceptable language and has directed a probe in to this issue. Maharashtra governments Cultural Affairs Minister Vinod Tawde said that “Officials of the Culture Department will examine the videos for the content. If found vulgar, further action will be initiated.” A special team of investigation is going through all the three-part AIB Knockout videos and is trying to screen out vulgar content from them if there are any so.

Indian television industry has been up with the standup comedy since two decades while the featuring of this kind of roasts is new to the Indian society. There have been many shows with the concept of standup comedy such Comedy Circus, Laughter Challenge, Comedy Nights with Kapil and many other shows which have introduced best of comedians to the film industry who were all ascended with the healthy comedy. Vile Parle Congress legislator Krishna Hegde has too filed a complaint with the polices with the similar allegations which were raised by the Akhilesh Tiwari, President of Brahman Ekta Seva Sanstha. MLA Krishna Hegde slammed the Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor along with the filmmaker Karan Johar stating that vast section of this society did not seem to be happy about it taking on the rudest, most offensive remarks. MLA Krishna Hegde said that “AIB knockout (All India Bakchod) as they call it is totally gross. Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in the name of charity have dished out filth and totally abusive content.

The show makers have been proclaiming that they have addressed viewers initially with a disclaimer which states clearly that the content featured is adult content and the video is filthy, rude and offensive thus giving a vast options and choices to the viewers whether to watch the it or not.
