In recent times we have seen digital agencies coming up with unique ideas. As part of a CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiative, the brand, and the agency selected five problematic spots in Mumbai which are affected by rains every year, and hung up lifeboats on billboards saying “Cut the Rope In Emergency”. The billboards were positioned at convenient locations for the public to use them in the case of an emergency.
Aircel came up with a unique Hoarding Ad which shows a boat attached to it saying “In Case Of Emergency Cut The Rope”. Aircel wanted to portray that Aircel’s network is so strong that you can sail through in emergency situations even.
Life Boat Stolen From Hoarding:
However, the lifeboat from hoarding reported stolen. The lifeboat estimated to be Rs. 2.5 Lakhs worth.
Aircel was giving away it’s boat for free to needy people during floods. One of the lifeboats (near Milan Subway) was put to use during the July 14th downpour. Well, this is real life and if you showcase something in India without protecting it, then you can forget it.
Someone stole an Aircel lifeboat worth Rs. 2.5 lakh rupees in Guwahati. Maybe the thief gonna plan a trip in this monsoon.
