Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Raees and Kaabil featuring Hrithik Roshan that released on January 25, have been doing well at the box office. Both the films have also earned positive reviews from the critics and fans.
Amitabh Bachchan, who played dad to SRK and Hrithik in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham 15 years ago, watched both the films. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has praised superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actor Hrithik Roshan for their brilliant performances.
The 74-years-old star took to a social networking site to congratulate Shah Rukh and praised him for his intense act as a liquor baron from Gujarat.
Here is his tweet:
T 2515 – Congratulations Shahrukh .. RAEES .. loved your anger in it !! pic.twitter.com/cfRr24jz0n

Amitabh Bachchan broke the trend of romantic heroes and he was the original “Angry Young Man” of Bollywood, so if he loves the anger of Shah Rukh in “Raees”, it is definitely a big deal. The words of praise showered by AB senior must be very special for King Khan as Shah Rukh holds a great deal of respect for the legend.
And, like an obedient student that he is, SRK took a moment to thank his ‘guru’:
Aap se hi seekha hai sir. https://t.co/i7rG0gYsrn

To which Big B replied.
ya right .. !!! ?? haha .. no seriously some moments were electric !!

On the other hand, SRK disclosed that Big B is his inspiration whenever he plays characters which are, “drunk, angry, powerful, comic or swaggy”.
Sir when playing drunk, angry, powerful, comic or swaggy the inspiration is always u.Actually for all emotions it’s u https://t.co/NoBR4NFuMF

In another tweet, the legend wrote that ‘Kaabil’ had some brilliant acting performance from Hrithik and the subject was well dealt by the director.
“‘KAABIL‘ most convincing film… Endearing, superior performances, and dexterously handled by Sanjay Gupta, director! Congrats!!” he tweeted.
