A 12-year-old boy was mauled to death by a massive fluffy dog, which a witness said was big enough to drag 3 police officers onto a road.
It was reported that the baby was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries after the horrible attack.
A short time after arriving at the hospital, the baby died.
A 35-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
Sally Hooley, who saw the dog being brought away by the authorities, said:
The dog was a big fluffy golden dog, it looked harmless at first glance. I couldn’t tell you the breed but three police officers were struggling to control it to get it into the dog van. The dog was strong enough to be dragging three officers into the road. It’s so, so sad. It looked like a big fluffy harmless dog. At the end of the day the parents will never get over the loss of their child.
