21-Year-Old Iowa Man Killed Relative’s Labradoodle And Shih Tzu With An Ax

The police arrested a 21-year-old Iowa man after he killed his relative’s labradoodle and Shih Tzu dog with an ax.

Officials arrested 21-year-old Douglas Usgaard on September 14, 2019, after he killed Trina, a 13-year-old Labradoodle, and Maz, a Shih Tzu-Bichon mix, with an ax.

Douglas killed the dogs with an ax when he was living at his elderly relative’s house in Decarah, Iowa.

Officials are still trying to figure out why Douglas killed the dogs.

Douglas was arrested by the officers on 2 counts of animal torture.

He is still inside the county jail and is waiting for his next court appearance.

Douglas was already on bond for stealing 2 iPhones from a football stadium in July when he killed the animals.

The 21-year-old man is currently being held without bail because of the killing of the dogs and for violating the terms of his probation.

When Douglas was 17-years-old, authorities arrested him after he was found driving a vehicle while under the influence of Marijuana and other drugs.

The relationship between Douglas and the elderly man is still unknown.
