Animal Sanctuary In South Carolina Is Looking For People That Can Cuddle With Pigs And Feed Them Cookies

An animal sanctuary in South Carolina, USA, is looking for people that are willing to cuddle with pigs and feed them cookies.

The Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary in South Carolina is home for animals that are abandoned, abused, neglected, and aging farm animals.

The organization is run by volunteers that spend their days caring for the animals and educating the people about the importance of farm animal sanctuaries.

Right now, the sanctuary is looking for volunteers that are willing to join their cuddle team.

The job of the volunteers will be cuddling with pigs and feed them cookies and other goods so they can feel better.

Not only that, the volunteers will be helping pigs in socializing so they can go through the adoption process easily.

A statement that was released by the sanctuary, they said, “When we rescue an adoptable pig, we place them in our foster and adoption program. We need loving foster homes, and forever homes for some amazing and sweet animals!”

The Cotton Branch advertised the need at their page on Facebook, where they said the volunteer will be playing a huge role in making a huge difference in the lives of the rescued pigs.

The volunteers will be scratching the bellies of the pigs and feed them cookies along with talks and walking them around.

The sanctuary says their activities will help the pigs in getting ready for their new home.

If you want to apply, you should over 16 years old. For all those volunteers that are below 18, your parents must be with you.
