Caught On Cam: 28-Year-Old Man Arrested For Tackling And Repeatedly Punching Pet Dog
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 28-year-old Joshua Schlotmann for repeatedly abusing and punching a dog.
A video of Joshua abusing the dog was captured by a ring doorbell camera of a homeowner.
After arresting Joshua, Carmine Marceno, the Sheriff of Lee County, said, “Not here. Not now. Not ever.”
He added, “I’ll keep throwing these abusers into jail until they get the message that I won’t stand for it.”

According to Sheriff Marceno, he was made aware of a video, which showed a man punching a dog numerous times near Hannah Avenue South and 17th Street SW in Lehigh Acres.
The video of animal abuse was posted online and went viral right away.
The police were able to identify and track down the man on video.
Schlotmann was identified near the scene and was arrested by the police for domestic animal abuse.
Thanos, the pet dog of Schlotmann, was removed by the Lee County Domestic Animal Services.
Joshua is currently facing charges which include aggravated animal cruelty that could lead to torture, serious injury, death, and inflict pain to an animal.
