Graham Dobson was on his way to work when he saw a poor sad dog chained to a lamppost in the middle of a street. He soon realized that someone actually abandoned the poor pooch.
Graham then gave water and food to the dog and contacted the local rescue so they could bring him to safety.
While waiting for the rescue to come, Dobson stayed with the poor heartbroken dog who was abandoned and chained to a lamppost.
Luckily, the dog was friendly and allowed Graham to come towards him.
The poor confused and terrified dog was waiting for his owner to come back.
The Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue rescued the pooch and named him Max.
The rescue shared a sad picture of Max on social media, and it didn’t take long for it to go viral.
On a social media post, the Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue, they wrote, “Max is doing very well and has gone to stay with a very experienced foster home, where the family is helping us to assess and care for him.”
Since the post was shared on social media, a lot of applications for max were received by the Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue.
They said, As you can imagine we have had an overwhelming amount of interest and applications for Max, but for now we feel it best to just concentrate on his care and further assess his needs.”
Max is now safe and is with the Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue, but is still looking for a forever home.
The Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue wants to find a home for max that knows how to take care of a dog and a home that is willing to love max.
