An Instagram Influencer was slammed for posting a “prank” video on his social media account, in which he could be seen and cooking a baby dolphin, which was actually created by a 3D printer.
Inscopenico, the Instagram influencer, posted the picture and the video on his personal Instagram account, where he has over 1.6 million followers.
Most of the followers who saw the prank called the prank as disgusting.
The Instagram influencer was slammed by animal rights groups and individuals who actually thought the man killed, cooked, and ate the baby dolphin.
To be honest, the video did look like it was a real video.
In the video, you could see the Instagram influencer chopping up the dolphin, who was 3D printed, and putting it in a pan, frying it, and then eating it.
But after hundreds of people messaged him and slammed him for his actions, he then went on and admitted that the dolphin was 3D printed and was not real.
The dolphin was made out of silicone and was placed in the freezer before filming the video for social media.
Explaining what happened, Inscopenico said, “I am playing with my reputation here. It was a risky stunt and I don’t know how it will end. Inscopenico’ claimed the video had actually been made in collaboration with the organization ‘Followfish’, which works to protect the seas and protect endangered or rare species.”
He added, “I wanted to make people think. I am not a vegan but I have started to think about what I eat. People should think about what they eat and not just eat the cheapest meats and should inform themselves more.”
The followers of Inscopenico were not impressed by the video he posted.
