Man Washing Dishes Finds Deadly Eastern Brown Snake Slithering Out From Kitchen Sink

A man from Queensland, Australia, was washing his dishes when he found a deadly eastern brown snake slithering out from the sink of his kitchen.

If I was him, I’d never wash the dishes again.

Jokes aside, Michael Hilliard, the man, spotted the deadly snake when he was doing the dishes at his home.

The incident happened at a private home in Draper, which is located in Queensland’s Moreton Bay Region.

During an interview with the local press, Hilliard said:

It was just a bit of a surprise. I’d popped my hands in and it was like “woah what was that”.

After that, Hilliard called Steven Brown, a snake catcher from Brisbane, so he could catch the snake.

Brown confirmed that the snake Hilliard saw was a juvenile eastern brown.

Unfortunately, Brown did not arrive on time to catch the snake and release it to where it should belong, in the wild.

Hilliard said that the snake slithered back into the drain before Brown arrived.

Recalling the moment, Hilliard said:

It was a bit of a shock because they’re pretty lethal. Thank God it didn’t get me.

Eastern Brown Snakes are responsible for more deaths in Australia than any other reptile, said DailyMail.

These types of snakes are known to be extremely aggressive.

They are so dangerous that baby eastern brown snakes have enough venom that could kill a single person.
