The adult bear is preserved in such good condition that it still has its nose intact.

Dr. Lena Grigorieva, a scientist, had an interview with The Siberian Times, where she talked about how amazing the find was.

Dr. Grigorieva said:

Today this is the first and only find of its kind – a whole bear carcass with soft tissues. It is completely preserved, with all internal organs in place. Photographs show the bear’s nose is intact. Previously, only skulls and bones were found.

This is also being considered as a very amazing find.

Cave bears are a very old species that once lived in Eurasia.

They lived on our planet from around 300,000 to 15,000 years ago.

The remains that were found are going to be analyzed by researchers that are currently working at the North-Eastern Federal University (NEFU) in Yakutsk, Russia.

Yakutsk is the coldest city in the world.

The facility where the remains are going is also home of research about extinct rhinos and woolly mammoths.

The bears that were found are believed to be around 22,000 to 39,500 years old.
