A man from Argentina was stunned after he saw a massive mosquito flying through his window.
Ezequiel Lobo, the man from Argentina, shared an image of the monster mosquito on Twitter after it flew through his window.
Lobo killed the massive mosquito with a bug-spray.
Lobo shared a picture of the mosquito alongside a normal-sized mosquito so viewers can see how big the mosquito is.
While sharing the picture on Twitter, he said, “Look at the size of the mosquito that just entered my window. It came in like a champion.”
The mother of Lobo panicked after seeing the massive mosquito and used a Raid spray to kill it right away.
Talking about the mosquito, Lobo said he searched the internet so he could know more about the massive mosquito.
But Lobo said he couldn’t find anything similar to the mosquito.
He asked, “Is it a new Chernobyl evolution or am I in Jumanji and didn’t know it?”
The image went viral right away on Twitter.
As of now, the tweet Lobo made has over 140,000 likes, 23,300 retweets, and thousands of comments.
Twitter users assured Lobo that it wasn’t a life-threatening mosquito.
The mosquito that they killed is likely to be a psorophora ciliata mosquito, which luckily is not a disease-carrier.
It is reported that these mosquitoes appeared for the first time four years ago and scientists believe that they arrive in large numbers after hurricanes.
The psorophora ciliata mosquito is four times larger than an average sized mosquito.
The psorophora ciliata mosquito kills smaller mosquitoes that carry killer diseases such as the Zika virus, Dengue, and even malaria.
