The unicorn puppy was nicknamed as “Narwhal the Little Magical Furry Unicorn” by the staff of the charity.

Mac’s Mission shared a picture of Narwhal and said, “New rescue! This puppy was just found along with another older dog. This puppy has a TAIL COMING OUT OF HIS FOREHEAD and a foot injury of some sort. We are thankful this baby and his buddy are safe from the freezing cold. We definitely specialize in special.”

The post that was made by the rescue charity went viral on social media, and people had a number of questions in their mind.

A user asked, “does it wag?”

Another user asked, “is it connected to his head?”

As a bid to answer all the questions that were being asked, the center made another post, where they said, “The million-dollar question about Narwhal’s extra tail on his face. Is it connected and does it wag? The extra tail is not connected to anything and has no real use other than making him the coolest puppy ever.”

The post added, “One of our followers said, ‘It appears they assembled the puppy wrong. Always follow the directions people!’ This is a true experience of having ‘extra parts’ during assembly. Dr. Heuring said there is no real reason at this time for the unicorn tail to be removed (and we all wish it wagged).”

The post continued, “Pretty sure the staff at Cape Small also gushed all over this little nugget! The unicorn face tail does not bother Narwhal and he never slows down just like any normal puppy. He seems completely healthy other than some usual puppy worms he got meds for.”

The rescue center is currently doing some tests and verification about its extra tail. They want to make sure that the tail wouldn’t cause any problems in the future.

The center also thanked everyone for showing a huge interest in the abandoned pooch. But unfortunately, it is not up for adoption yet.
