Woman Left Terrified After Finding 8Ft Boa Constrictor Wrapped Around The Sink In The Bathroom Of Her House

A woman from Wirral was left terrified after she found an 8-foot long boa constrictor wrapped around the sink in the bathroom of her house.

The woman later called the police and informed them about the massive snake.

The police rushed to the first floor flat in Birkenhead on the Wirral after the resident found the snake between her sink and bath.

The woman didn’t own a snake.

The boa constrictor was between 6 and 8 feet long and had wrapped itself around the fittings leaving the officers flabbergasted.

The police said neither the woman nor her neighbor knew where the snake came from.

Efforts to capture the snake went south, so the police had to call Constable Chris Eastwood, a member of the Matrix Team.

The spokesperson of the Merseyside Police said, “Constable Eastwood has knowledge of snakes and handling them and when he arrived confirmed it was a boa constrictor.”

The spokesperson added, “He was able to calmly approach the reptile, which had wrapped itself around the bathroom sinks and taps, and after giving it a drink of water was able to coax it to unravel itself so that he could put it into a large, safe container.”

Constable Chris Eastwood of the Matrix Team had to make arrangements to have the snake housed at a local rescue facility.

The gigantic snake was temporarily rehomed and is doing well, said the spokeswoman of the Merseyside Police.

The boa constrictor snake is a member of the Boidae family. The snake is non-venomous but is considered as a very deadly snake.

The boa constrictor snake is commonly found in South America, North America, and Central America.

They are also found in some islands of the Caribbean.
