A tiny Yorkshire terrier was slammed to the ground and was beaten to death by a Russian couple that was disciplining their child.
The incident happened when the owner of the dog tried to stop a man from beating his child at a park in Western Russia.
The owner of the dog, a female, saw a couple disciplining their child, however, she stepped in as they were beating him.
In the video that was shared with the public, the female owner of the dog could be seen arguing with a man, who is the father of the child.
The incident happened in a car park located in Zyuzino District, Moscow.
The 2 filmed each other as the Yorkshire terrier looked on.
At the same time, a woman, who is the wife of the man, approaches from behind, picks up the Yorkshire terrier and slams it forcefully on the ground.
The owner of the dog rushes over to the interview and the pair start scuffling off-screen.
According to a report, the dog died from brain injuries afterward.
A resident that new the identity of the couple that killed the dog reported their real names to the authorities, which led the authorities to call them.
The questioning led the authorities to arrest the woman in the video, who is believed to be 37 years old.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Zyuzino District said that the woman did not explain why she did the horrific act.
People that saw the entire incident said that the couple was angry at the dog owner because she intervened in the disciplining of their child, which led to the horrible incident.
The police have launched an investigation.
If convicted, the woman could face up to 3 years in prison.
The husband of the woman is also being investigated by the police for reportedly beating their child.
