As world powers prepare to bomb barbaric ISIS into the medieval age it so dearly craves, in the wake of the Paris attacks Anonymous too has declared war on the terror group. The hacking group Anonymous on Sunday declared “total war” against the Islamic State, the terror organization that claimed responsibility for the attacks on Friday that killed 132 Parisians.
Posting a video on YouTube, the group said it would use its knowledge to “unite humanity” and warned the terrorists to “expect us”.
Behind their signature mask, a spokesperson speaking in French said: “Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down. Expect massive cyber attacks. War is declared. Get prepared.”
Make no mistake: #Anonymous is at war with #Daesh. We won’t stop opposing #IslamicState. We’re also better hackers. #OpISIS

According to the FP report from last week, hackers have taken 149 Islamic State-linked websites offline and flagged roughly 101,000 Twitter accounts and 5,900 propaganda videos.

“You should know that we will find you and we will not let you go. We will launch the biggest operation ever against you. The French people are stronger than you and will come out of this atrocity even stronger,” the Anonymous spokesperson added.
