Earlier today, officials from Jammu and Kashmir revealed that a terrorist was killed in an encounter in Shopian District.

After the security personnel received a tip-off that there are terrorists living in the Dragad Sugan area, the officials launched a search operation to hunt the rebels down.

When the security forces reached the area, the terrorists fired upon them, during the encounter, one terrorist was killed.

The government of Kashmir is currently holding up a number of anti-terrorists operations in the valley.

On Thursday alone, 2 terrorists were killed during an encounter in the Sopore area of Jammu and Kashmir, the area is located in the district of Baramulla.

In May alone, 20 terrorists have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier this month, the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir killed the most wanted terrorist in Dadsara Tral.

Zakir Musa, a former commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen, who then formed the Ansar Ghazwat-ul Hind, a group that is linked with Al-Qaeda, was killed, he is considered as an A++ Terrorist.

Officials said, “Zakir Musa was an Ansar Ghazwat-ul Hind chief and an A++ terrorist. He was also an al Qaeda affiliate.”
