Board of Controller of Examination, in a recently released job notice, said that Applications in prescribed form are invited from citizens of India for filling up of 19 (nineteen) posts of Assistant Professor for the Government Law College of Arunachal Pradesh.

APPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2018 will be in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15,600-39,100 with AGP of Rs. 6000/- per month plus other allowances as admissible to Arunachal Pradesh Government Employees from time to time. APCS Secretary, Taru Talo regarding Application Form said that APPSC Assistant Professor Application Form can also be sent “To the Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Itanagar – 791111 (AP)” through registered post/ courier and should reach the commission before 4 PM on 5th September 2018. Application Form not fulfilling the terms and condition as stipulated in the advertisement will be rejected.
Besides acknowledging the candidates that commission will adopt recruitment test (objective type) or any other means including academic performance to shortlist no. of candidates before the interview/ viva-voce if it is deemed necessary to do so, a method of selection is also unveiled. Secretary has confirmed that the eligible candidates will have to appear in an interview/ viva voce test to be conducted by the commission at Itanagar or another place, which may be decided by the commission.
Reportedly, better the academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level (LLM and English) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University, better the chances of selection. Concession of 5% marks that is from 55% to 50% marks at Masters Degree level will be given to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates.
