But it is expected that phase 1 and phase 2 tests will be held in November month only. Rs. 30,000 for the meritorious students of class 9 and class 10 and Rs. 50,000 for the meritorious students of Class 11 and Class 12 will be given. The examination will be conducted in total six districts by Amar Ujala Foundation and the scholarship will also be given by Amar Ujala Foundation as an initiative to promote literacy in our nation.

The name of the states and union territory in which the examination will be conducted are – Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Chandigarh only. The application form filling procedure for Atul Maheshwari Scholarship began on 20th August 2018 and earlier the last date was 31st August 2018. But following lots and lots of acceptance of registration forms, the last date was further extended to 9th September 2018.
