The Beef ban news is still on the table and here’s another issue that rolled on the table. Rajasthan High Court judge Mahesh Chandra Sharma now made some shocking statements on peacocks following his earlier statements on cows.
It is well known that earlier he suggested that cow should be declared as India’s national animal and had directed the state government to coordinate with the BJP-led Centre to make that happen, now this judge has come up with an interesting theory on explaining why peacock is the national bird of India.
The minister didn’t leave any stone unturned in threading the story with his fictional contexts, he went saying,
“Jo mor hai, yeh aajeevan bhramachari hai. Kabhi bhi morni ke saath sex nahi karta hai. Iske jo aasu aate hai, morni usse chubhkar garbhavati hoti hai, mor ya morni ko janm deti hai”
when roughly translated, it means:
“The peacock is a lifelong celibate. It does not have sex with the peahen. The peahen gets impregnated with the tears of the peacock and then gives birth to a peacock or a peahen.”
Now, it seems that this is more than enough Biology for a single day. Though other ministers didn’t yet react on this blunt statements, Twitterati didn’t give up its pace on Sharma Ji.
