Bihar Board Matric Result Improves By 18.77%

Matric result of the Bihar board is out now. A total number of students who were appeared for the exam for the session 2017-18 is 17,58,797. Out of all appeared students total of 12,11,617 got qualified for the higher studies.

 

 

68.89% students cleared in this 2018 matric results which are far good than the results of the previous year. In results of this year, Bihar School Examination Board jumps of 18.77% as compared to the results of last year.

The part of the credit goes to the Bihar School Examination Board for jumping 18.77%. They introduced 50% of the multiple choice questions. By keeping in mind the intelligence level of the Bihar matric students. This structure of Bihar Board helps students to score more in their examinations.

In 2016 out of total students appeared for the exams only 47.15% students adjusted to clear their matric examination. Result of the last year was not so good and this year Bihar School Examination Board had made some changes to solve last year problem.

The girls obtain top 4 positions of Bihar. The shocking part is that all the 4 girls belong to the same school, Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya. Simultala Awasiya is situated in Jamui and is under state government.

Out of the 22 toppers of the state 16 are from the Simultala school. These 16 students bring laurel for their school.

The first topper of the state is Prerna Raj who got 91.4%. The second position of the state is shared by two students named Pragya and Shikha Kumari as they both got 90.8%. The third topper is Anu Priya who got 90.4%.

Statement of Anand Kishore

Anand Kishore who is the Chair Person of the Bihar School Examination Board expressed satisfaction at the results of 2018. However, he had to face some tough questions on missing 42,400 answer sheets from the Goalganj Examination Centre.

He replied “ The board would sit together and take a call on it. It’s a very valid question.”

 

 

Out of all the students who appeared in the exams; 1,89,326 students are first division holders. 6,63,884 students are second division holders.

Bihar has 38 districts out of which Munger had the best result with 78.69%. Apart from this district, Kaimur was at the bottom with 56.49%.
