Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission declared the Sub Inspector mains examination result conducted on 22nd July. As the recruitment organising body, the commission has provided the mains exam results on the official website bpssc.bih.nic.in. A total of 10,161 candidates are selected for the PET (Physical Efficiency Test). To be appointed for the final posts, selected candidates need to appear for the PET necessarily. This third level test is expected to be conducted in September.

The board has not provided the results separately for each and every candidate. A PDF file has been uploaded in which, roll numbers of all the selected candidates are given.
Data of disqualified candidates: 1st Shift – 220 candidates were disqualified following the wrong entry of roll number, 15 for filling the wrong number in question booklet/ answer sheet, 7 disqualified for no signature in the answer sheet, 1 for no handwriting, 3 for no Hindi handwriting and 1 for no English handwriting.
In 2nd Shift: 263 for filling incorrect roll number, 14 for filling wrong number in Question Booklet/ answer sheet and 06 for no signature in the answer sheet. The total number of contenders disqualified in 1st and 2nd shift are 247 and 283 respectively.
The board provided a notice for the recruitment in 2017 concerning 1717 vacancies of Sub Inspector in the department. For this recruitment, 4,28,200 candidates applied. As selection procedure, three stages were to be organised and the first level would be the preliminary examination. Prelims was organised on 11th March in two shifts and on 15th April in one shift. A total of 29,359 candidates qualified the prelims examination. And after that, the mains exam was held on 22nd July and BPSSC SI mains result 2018 is available now.
In the result file, the commission has provided that the next level – PET would tentatively be conducted in September. Candidates who are selected would get an e-mail and SMS regarding the information and admit card. All the contenders who appear for the examination should not forget to bring the admit card to the examination centre. This document would be checked out at the main entrance and only those would be permitted who would possess the admit card.
