We all know the life of an Indian soldier is full of adventures. Always ready for war, the job of a soldier is one of the most difficult and demanding jobs in the world and good food plays an important part in a soldier’s life, as it is necessary for keeping the soldier fit and fine.
Remember Tej Bahadur Yadav, the BSF jawan who took media by storm creating a ripple in the BSF’s management system through a set of videos wherein he reported that the Jawans are disregarded in terms of food and essentials.
His videos were aired on all TV news channels and were soon discussed all over the country.
The case took multiple turns in the last couple of months and the BSF lastly released a video which reportedly released by his family, where he can be heard saying that he exposed corruption in his department since the Prime Minister wanted to fight corruption.
Also, Yadav questioned whether he deserved justice or not. He has also appealed to PM Modi to come out in his support as he is being targeted for exposing corruption.
However, after an internal inquiry on the whole matter, Tej Bahadur Yadav has been dismissed by the Border Security Force as he has been found guilty on of making false charges.
A senior officer said to PTI –
“The action of dismissal of the jawan has been taken under the Border Security Force Act that is applicable to all the personnel serving in the paramilitary force.
Yadav has been found guilty on certain charges of indiscipline including uploading the said video in violation of laid down procedures and rules. He has an option to appeal against the verdict within three months time.”
Earlier, Yadav’s family members had alleged that he was tortured and harassed while on duty and even requested for a voluntary retirement from service, which was later dismissed by the BSF.
In response to the judgement, Yadav’s wife, Sharmila released a video expressing her disappointment regarding the same.
“Ab koi maa apne bete ko sena mein nahin bhejegi.”

Soon after the news broke, it created another wave on the social media. Many took to Twitter to share their opinion on the issue. While many said that the decision was harsh and not right arguing that “there is no place for poor and honest people” complaining about their distress, few others lambasted the jawan and said he got what he deserved.
Here’s how Twitterati reacted to Yadav’s dismissal:
