BSNL Goes Jio Way, Extends 2GB Free Data Per Day Monsoon Offer

BSNL has extended the complimentary 2GB daily data offering validity and is as of now offering additional data benefits along with the purchase of its 10 of the most popular prepaid recharges until September 15. The promotional offer of additional 2GB data per day was introduced under the ‘Monsoon Offer’ by the state-owned telco to counter the Jio Double Dhamaka offer in last June. The offer is available for all the recharges made for Rs. 186, Rs. 429, Rs. 485, Rs. 666 and Rs. 999. The benefit of additional 2GB data on daily basis is also available with tariff vouchers like Rs. 187, Rs. 333, Rs. 349, Rs. 444 and Rs. 448. Jio has approached its customers time and again with the complimentary 2GB data offer.

The ‘Monsoon Offer’ was launched originally on a pan-India basis for a total of 60 days. And now, BSNL has extended the validity of the offer until September 15. The special offer is valid for all major BSNL packs which include Rs. 186, Rs. 429, Rs. 485, Rs. 666, and Rs. 999 along with for special tariff vouchers valued at Rs. 187, Rs. 333, Rs. 349, Rs. 444, and Rs. 448. This helps in bringing a total of 3GB of daily data limit with Rs. 186 BSNL recharge that previously offered 1GB data on daily basis for 28 days. In the same way, subscribers who want to go for Rs. 444 recharge will get a total of 6GB data per day for 60 days. The same was being offered originally at 4GB daily data.

BSNL is currently offering unlimited local, STD and roaming calls alongside the additional 2GB daily data benefits without any kind of FUP limit and a total of 100 SMS messages per day. The recharge offers with the benefit of additional 2GB data are available across all the circles where ever the company has its operations. The most important thing to note here is that the telecom operator has got 3G support.

As for the validity, BSNL extended it for ‘Monsoon Offer’, Jio ended its offer of Double Dhamaka on June 30 itself just after weeks of providing the offer for its subscribers about the additional 1.5GB daily data limit. After being said all these, high-speed 4G data access is available over the dated 3G network.

But the main thing that needs to be ascertained by the users is that the network of BSNL is mostly reported to be not good in several locations. People who want to port to BSNL needs to check the connection issues with their friends or neighbours living nearby.
